Newcastle-Gateshead Winter Festival 08
The run up to Christmas was certainly a busy time in the North East for Midas with two machines, mains and distribution powering the Enchanted Park, part of the Newcastle-Gateshead Winter Festival. Produced by Magnetic Events on behalf of culture10 & Gateshead City Council saw especially commissioned artworks celebrating stories and themes of wintertime, providing a memorable and seasonal walk in Saltwell Park. The park was transformed into a wonderful setting for after-dark fairy tales by atmospheric installations, light, sound and performance.
